What is the University of Manchester: Micro Internships?
A two-week virtual work-based learning programme
Real clients, real projects, real outcomes
You will be part of a team of 6-7 students (all PGTs), consulting an organisation on a current priority including Growth Strategy, Digital Marketing, AI Strategy, Sustainable Impact, International Markets – you can specify your preference when you apply.
Purpose of this programme:
- Level-up your employability
- Supercharge your consulting skills
- Deliver real business outcomes
Easter Programme execution date: 22nd April – 7th May 2025
The Easter Programme 2025 is exclusively available to International PGT students.
Roles & Expectations
- Attend Orientation
- Commit a minimum of 25 hours each (across 2 weeks)
- Submit 2 project deliverables
- Agree to roles & tasks
- Meet client expectations & deliverables
- Reflect on your professional development along the way
How does it work?
Wednesday 16th April 2025: Attend Online Orientation Session to meet team & Client
Week 1: Submit Draft Report
Week 2: Submit Team 360 and Final Report
Close: Final Reflection
