Government, charity, international development, work and related areas
Many graduates are attracted to working in the public sector or charities as they offer a range of different opportunities within a not-for-profit environment, plus opportunities for progression. There is huge diversity in these sectors, with jobs ranging from policy making in the Civil Service and think tanks to working as a fundraiser for a charity.
Entry requirements do vary but mostly recruiters look for generalist skills from graduates of any discipline. However, it is competitive, and relevant work experience may boost your chances of being recruited.
